Never did I expect the reception of my work to be so overwhelmingly positive, especially factoring in my complex subject matter of existentialism. I operated under the assumption that people might not understand my work. I created stamps of my artwork as part of my investigation into the visual manifestations of philosophical ideas with the hope, that people would use them as an interactive and immersive way of experiencing my work.
There is an interesting symmetry between literal interpretation and metaphorical; stamps being a metaphorical expression of impressions,. as well as intentionally exploring the relationship between the creator and the audience.
